Arrest Made After Theft From Eber’s On Kingston Ave

A sticky-fingered woman who stole a bottle of liquor from Eber’s Wine Store on Kingston Ave didn’t have a relaxing evening Monday, after a quick Shomrim response and an arrest.

According to reports, the woman made a grab for a bottle of alcohol from Eber’s Monday afternoon, but was seen by a store employee. Still, the woman might have potentially gotten away with her illicit gains if not for the employee pursuing and calling Crown Heights Shomrim.

Realizing she was had, the woman broke the bottle on the floor, but it was too late. Shomrim had quickly arrived and de-escalated the situation, providing a calm scene that the NYPD was able to investigate. Ultimately, the woman was arrested and taken to the 71st Precinct.
