Teen Shoves Two Jewish Girls Off Scooter and Steals It In Disgusting Act, Caught By Shomrim Minutes Later

A disgusting theft took place on the streets of Crown Heights Tuesday when a teen gang targeted two Jewish girls riding a scooter. The teen shoved the two Jewish girls off and stole the scooter before being caught by Shomrim minutes later.
The blood-boiling incident was caught on surveillance camera as the roving gang arrived on scooters and on foot to the corner of Maple Street and Brooklyn Ave. Two Jewish girls riding tandem on their own scooter and wearing their school bags also arrived at the same corner just moments later. One of the gang motioned to another, marking the two as targets for another member of the gang.
Taking his cue, one of the teen gang members grabbed the scooter while the girls were still on it, shoving them off and stealing the scooter for himself. He then rode off on the stolen scooter with his fellow gang members.
Multiple Jewish witnesses immediately called Crown Heights Shomrim whose volunteers saturated the area and quickly caught sight of them in the area of Brooklyn Ave and Lefferts Ave. Police were called, and when they arrived minutes later, Crown Heights Shomrim was able to direct the responding officers to the thieves still in possession of the stolen scooter in the area of East New York and Troy Ave.
“At approximately 4 p.m., we received multiple calls for 2 girls getting robbed of their scooter on their way home from school,” Crown Heights Shomrim wrote. “Thanks to swift action and great camera work by our operations team, we were able to identify and locate the perpetrator, and he was arrested by @NYPD71Pct officers.”
As the police investigated the incident, the Shomrim volunteers were able to identify two other scooters in the hands of the gang that had stickers with Hebrew names of their owners. Within a short time, the volunteers were able to get in contact with the owners of two other stolen scooters and return them.
Due to the age of the perpetrators, the police took the gang member who shoved the girls and stole the scooter for reunification with his parents. There he will hopefully face a reckoning.
Must be a gang initiation?
Sick, sick, sick!
We need law and order.
Why weren’t the thugs brought to a juveniles’ holding cell and then their parents called to pick them up?
Here they got free rides home to where their parents probably weren’t around anyway!
