Man Arrested After Assaulting Jewish Man In Crown Heights

A man who assaulted a Jewish victim was put in cuffs Wednesday after he punched his victim while he walked on the street.

Crown Heights Heights Shomrim received a call for help from the victim just minutes before 7:00pm Wednesday, reporting that the man had assaulted him and and he was following.

The Shomrim volunteers arrived quickly, keeping the perpetrator on the scene as they waited for officers of the 77th precinct, who arrived quickly and placed the man under arrest.

Thankfully the Jewish victim was not injured and Hatzalah’s assistance was not required.
