The attempted robery was at Brooklyn and Union? The pictures show a park but there is no park at Brooklyn and Union. Where is the park?

"What can be done about this?" asks ch resident.

One thing that might help is to increase the salary of New York City Police Officers. Provide the police with an up to date contract that doesn’t require trading benefits for salary. The current contract expired three years ago. You can’t police a city if there are no police.

How about improving working conditions. Precincts are filthy and infested with rats and cockroaches. There isn’t even soap in the bathrooms.

Pressure could be applied the Kings County DAs office to help streamline the arrest processing system. Arrest processing is time consuming and requires an excessive amount of paperwork in comparision to other boroughs. Fax machines are always broken and the admin people downtown never answer the phone. Cops don’t want to deal with the headache of making an arrest so the only make 4 a year.

Reduce the amount if influence and control CCRB has over this city. Cops refuse to lose vacation days because some people doesn’t like the way he was treated.

    Oh the list goes on….

By the way, it’s illegal to operate that scooter in the park.
