Known Crown Heights Package Thief Goes Shopping Over Shabbos, Clears Out Building

A well known Crown Heights package thief went on a relaxing shopping trip this past Shabbos afternoon, clearing the lobby of a Crown Heights building of over a dozen packages.

The woman gained entry to the building around 5:50pm shabbos afternoon, and can be seen on surveillance footage as she scopes out the dozens of packages left out in the lobby, and a good place to sift through her loot.

Making a couple runs, the thief, a woman who lives on Montgomery Street just a few block away, transported her goods into the building’s stairwell, where she proceeded to unbox her goodies and sift through what she wanted to keep.

All finished, she packed her bags and left, leaving behind a pile of opened boxes, and quite a few very unhappy residents.

A police report was made, and the building’s residents are planning on pressing charges, hopefully to stop this woman from committing future crimes.

CrownHeights.info would like to remind the community to make sure that no packages are unattended and visible from outside the building at any time. Building residents should also ensure that no unknown characters are allowed entry without a residents permission.
