Man Wanted For Public Lewdness In Crown Heights Arrested After Being Caught Breaking into Cars

A man wanted by the NYPD for public lewdness in Crown Heights is in cuffs Wednesday, after he was busted breaking into cars on Eastern Parkway.

The man was spotted by an alert Crown Heightser as he tried door handles along Eastern Parkway Service Road around 9:00am Wednesday morning. He soon found an open vehicle, and after entering, snatched a few item.

As he exited the vehicle, he was confronted by another Crown Heights resident as Shomrim and the NYPD were called.

Shomrim arrived soon after and followed the man until the police arrived.

While the man was being arrested, he was recognized by Shomrim as a man wanted for a disgusting earlier incident involving public lewdness and an attempt to enter a Crown Heights home.

Once a proper ID was made, the police arrested him on charges of breaking into the vehicle, and are awaiting further charges on the warrant for public lewdness.
