Wanted Package Thief Nabbed in Crown Heights

A woman wanted for package thefts totaling thousands has been apprehended in Crown Heights, thanks to the diligent work of an alert community member and Crown Heights Shomrim.

The lady, who has made headlines in the past in Crown Heights, was identified by Shomrim after they received a call to East New York Ave and Kingston Ave with her whereabouts.

Police were called and the Shomrim volunteers followed the wanted woman until the police arrived. She was placed under arrest for Grand Larceny, as the packages she had stolen in the past totaled in worth in the thousands of dollars.

The woman was also wanted for thefts done in Flatbush and other neighborhoods.
