A man was injured Wednesday afternoon, after being shot on Sterling Pl in Crown Heights.
According to reports, officers responded at approximately 4:00pm to a report of shots fired in the area of Sterling Pl and Utica Ave. Upon arrival, the officers found one male shot, with non life-threatening injuries.
The police were reportedly searching for a suspect who fled towards Buffalo Ave in a four-door Chevrolet sedan that may have a New Jersey license plate.
The scene was cordoned off with Crime Scene tape for hours after the shooting.
