Jewish Van Riddled With Bullets Motzei Shabbos in Gang Shooting in Crown Heights

A Jewish owned van parked in Crown Heights was riddled with bullets Motzei Shabbos in what is believed to be a gang-related shooting.

The shooting took place around 10:00pm on Troy Ave and St. John’s Place, leaving the windows of the car shattered and bullet holes in the roof.

According to the car’s owner, the car had been parked over shabbos and was unoccupied when a person shot from a hight towards someone on the sidewalk. The car was hit three times in the roof, leaving three bullet holes and shattering two passenger side windows.

The NYPD’s 77th Police Precinct is investigating the shooting, in which it appears there were no injuries.
