Another attack in Crown Heights
On Monday November 13th at approximately 7:00pm a man was brutally beaten on the corner of Carroll & Schenectady.
The victim, a Caucasian professor in his 30’s was found unconscious, sustained with serious bruises and a deep cut to his forehead which bled into being a puddle around him.
EMS and NYPD responded accordingly.
An abandoned cell phone at the scene may hint to the hurry of the assailant, and a missing wallet belonging to the victim, might suggest this to be a mugging scenario, where the assailant attacked his victim by surprise.
This incident marks a two week anniversary since the NYPD removed a command-post from this high-profile corner, the same corner on which Mr. Klein was murdered when he was moving his mini-van to keep with the alternate-side parking regulations.
We remind the public to sustain extra vigilance when walking in this area of Crown-Heights.

I think they need to put the police there for a longer amount of time, and have foot patrols inthe area.

Isn’t it interesting? As long as they are THERE a decrease in crime appears…when they leave some poor man gets beaten. WHY did they leave? Obviously, the area needs regular controls…
