Rabbi B. to Headline the Annual One Crown Heights FestivalA Celebration of Community, Culture, and Connection

The  Annual One Crown Heights Festival returns on Sunday, August 16, from 12:00–5:00 PM on Park Place between Brooklyn and Kingston Avenues, bringing neighbors together for an afternoon celebrating the vibrant diversity, culture, and spirit of Crown Heights.

This free, family-friendly festival will feature:

– Live music, headlined by children’s favorite Rabbi B., singing kids’ classics

– Roller skating

– A coached basketball tournament and clinic

– Free admission to the Brooklyn Children’s Museum

– A local artists market

– Opportunities to connect with neighborhood organizations

– Hands-on activities and fun for all ages

Organized by the One Crown Heights Coalition, the festival is a collaboration of neighborhood nonprofit organizations, community leaders, elected officials, and residents dedicated to building a stronger, more connected Crown Heights.

Coalition members include The Brooklyn Children’s Museum, Community Conversations & Collaboration, Inc., Crown Heights Jewish Community Council (CHJCC), Crown Heights Local Development Corporation, Crown Heights North Association, Epic Village Community Development, Friends of Brower Park, JCRC-NY, Jewish Children’s Museum, Save Our Streets (SOS/NIA), the 67th Precinct Community Council, the 71st Precinct Community Council, the 77th Precinct Community Council, and UJA-Federation of New York.

One Crown Heights is funded in part by the NYC Mayor’s Office for the Prevention of Hate Crimes.

The festival showcases the people, cultures, and partnerships that make Crown Heights one of Brooklyn’s most dynamic and welcoming neighborhoods.
