They switched to another very reliable hechsher that other popular restaurants use and is easier to work with. Nothing to see here folks. Keep moving along.

Easier to work with in this case means that his kashrus standards are lower. The fact that people eat by other restaurants under his certification is due to not knowing (or wanting to know). Mehlman is not recommended by the cRc or other kashrus experts…

The Bible for recommended hechsherim, CrC from Chicago, who list hundreds of hechsherim doesn’t have Rabbi Melman listed. If I understand correctly ,many kashrus agencies don’t rely on him. He operates with different policies. He allows stores to be open on Shabbos. I am not sure why they would take such a hechsher.
Chaim
Bh unfortunately they know most people don’t care

Every hashgocha has its own standards. Generally, they are all reliable, especially for a milchig place owned by frum yidden, and closed on shabbos.

We all eat???
Perhaps you do, and you might know.others that do, but we all is very misleading.
If they chose wanted to change hechsherim I can understand.
But by picking that one and not one that is accepted by you and others is very telling.

Don’t be silly. Which cholov yisroel pizza shop WON’T you or anyone else NOT eat from?! Hypocritical comments are uncalled for.
