Massive Search Underway for Missing 19-Year-Old [Update: Found]

A Williamsburg teenager has been missing for nearly 24 hours and a massive is currently underway. The search is being led by volunteers of Williamsburg Shomrim with support from the NYPD, other area Shomrims’ and members of the communities.

According to searchers, 19-year-old Aron Volf (Volvi) Gelb was last seen yesterday Monday, August 31st at 11:00am. The search began at around 10:00pm Monday when the parents of the missing teen alerted authorities.

Shomrim sources said that as of 8:45am the search is still ongoing and requested assistance from the public in locating him.

Update – 9:55am: The Bochur has been found safe and sound.
