An 11-year-old Jewish girl was attacked at a Crown Heights playground by a band of black youths who slammed her into a metal slide, kicked her repeatedly – and pelted her with anti-Semitic invective, the girl’s mom said Wednesday.
“Dumb Jew! B—-! Why are you here? Why are you in this world?” the boys screamed as they pummeled Nechama Benjamin at a Montgomery St. playground early Tuesday evening.
The shocking attack by at least three boys is being investigated by police. The beating caused Nechama to black out and left her with a bloody nose – and a terrible fear of leaving home, her mom said.
“My daughter told me she is afraid to go out, to go to the park – to go anywhere,” said Elka Benjamin, 31.
Nechama went to the local park with her 6-year-old brother around 6 p.m. Although Crown Heights has long been plagued by racial and religious tension, Nechama’s mother thought it was okay for her kids to go to the playground alone because the family lives on the same block.
Trouble started when one of a group of boys playing soccer tossed the ball at Nechama, hitting her in the leg, her mother said.
She tossed it back – and an argument ensued. The boys surrounded Nechama, taunting her mercilessly, her mother said.
Then the boys grabbed her by the hair and dragged her from the bench to a playground slide.
Nechama spoke to cops Tuesday at the NYPD’s 71st Precinct stationhouse, where a boy who witnessed the incident was also questioned.
No arrests have been made, a police source said Wednesday night.

Do you honestly think that by attacking your neighbors that will help the situation? If so then you are not only a racist but also ignorant.
Also, I feel very strongly about the Jewish schools in Crown Heights to offer self defense classes and make it mandatory for their students to take it. This way, if g-d forbid someone is being attacked that can at least defend themselves somewhat.

the difrence between #2 and black on jew attacks is that when a jew is attacked he is arrested but when he is attacked he is frightened of more than just being brought into the station so much so that he fled the country.

I don’t live in America so I can’t do anything but make a suggestion:
Would it be possible for two adults at a time to be on duty in parks and playgrounds on a voluntary basis…This would be obviously from the Lubavitch Community but it might be a good idea to have people also from the black community.
This way all children would be able to play safely and happily

If a community suffers unprovoked attack repeatedly, month after month for decades by their neighboring community, then in my books, the aggressors completely lose any right to verbal niceties. So, folks, lets stop whining when the victimized, traumatized Jewish community of Crown Heights speaks about damn blacks attacking Jews, or about the black community being rampant with subhuman beasts who ought to be beaten black and blue and left to die on the pavements. If the victim is repeatedly denied widespread media coverage, real protection, their own unpersecuted community patrol, sympathy or acknowledgment, then at least them verbally abuse their attackers! Why can’t the black community keep their sorry-excuse-for-human-youth on a leash?!?

This is not about sides at least not the way you think of sides. You are thinking white vs black and jew vs gentile. It is really right vs wrong, what is right and what is wrong. We all know that it’s wrong for a group of black kids to beat a little jewish girl. What you’re not thinking but should be is that its wrong for anyone to beat anyone. It is no more wrong for them to beat her as it is for you to beat him.
I mentioned the first 2 that came to mind and proved a point completely contrary to what you thought I meant proving your ignorance and rush to judge.
That said I am all for knocking the daylights out of anyone who starts up with me, my family, my friends, or their families. The right way is not always the right way.

Yo, Mom, if you really are one, then you should be old enough to remember what led up to the 1991 race riots in Crown Heights was when they shut down Shmira in favor of a ‘multi-cultural patrol’ (read: PC Crap).
Let the Jews protect the Jews and let those who think otherwise die, or just be a victim of one these crimes, then come back and talk to me.
For now I say thank you to Shomrim as the ONLY patrol of the Jewish community in Crown Heights. The others are just a bunch of Cappos and Collaborators whos personal interest are that which drive them. (read: The attention they get from the Chazzierim.)

So, Mr. Live Free or Die, are YOU & your fellow Shomrim going to patrol Lefferts Park & these playgrounds so OUR kids are protected? I think that would be excellent. Everyone agrees Shomrim does a great job & no question, you are always there (you were for me!!)
There really isn’t any need to be so rude. My suggestion was simply so no one can accuse any Yid of bias. IF this patrol wants to be effective as an example of co operation & mutual respect (joke??) then it should show us thay actually do something. But in the meantime, just calling Shomrim isn’t going to work, simply because these animals run like h*** as soon as anyone whips out a cell. They’re gone before you get there. Sometimes you get lucky, but why is it such a bad idea to PREVENT violence instead of worrying about finding the terrorists?
