Aliya Institute’s Chanukah Concert Uplifts the Spirits
Aliya’s grand Chanuakh concert, which featured 6 bands – many their own members, was extremely uplifting.
Each and every band performed superbly, and the joy of Chanukah was palpable to all the young men that came.
After dancing to the first 5 bands, they all went outside to watch Aliya’s very own Tamim Sruli Hahn light the Giant Menorah. They sang and danced “Haneiros Halalu” outside, then came back inside for the final performance by Schneur Hasofer, AKA DeScribe.
After he was done, the elated crowd wanted more, so Dovid Joseph and his band came back on to perform the song that his guitarist Moshe Bornstein had just composed about Chanukah.
