Photos: Chanukah Celebration at Bondi Beach, Sydney

This year, like every year, Rabbi Yoram Ulman of F.R.E.E. & Chabad of Bondi, together with Rabbi Menachem Dadon of Chabad for the Israeli Community in Sydney, celebrated with their communities Chanukah on Bondi beach.

This year has been wettest summer in 40 years. The miracle of Chanukah was clear to all: the clouds parted and the 4 hour Chankah Experience at Bondi Beach was celebrated amid beautiful weather.

This year was especially historic as a newly elected member for Waverley council Mr. Leon Goltsman, a Jew of Russian decent and a close friend of Rabbi Ulman and F.R.E.E., was greatly applauded when he gave over a Chanukah Message in his mother tongue, Russian.
