Free Chabad Video Sites Grow: Daily Shows, the Complete Tanya, and a New Site of Chassidus for Adults

A free collection of animated Chabad videos that began as material for a single classroom has grown into three websites: one for children, one for bochurim, and, as of this week, one that brings deep Chassidus to adults.

ChabadKidsVideos.com

The children’s site, ChabadKidsVideos.com, now carries more than two hundred short animated videos. Its anchor is a series on Tanya that covers all 53 perakim of Likkutei Amarim, perek by perek, with summary episodes along the way and printable question booklets for teacher and student.

Each day brings a new episode of “Today in Chabad”: the day’s Hayom Yom, the day’s mitzvah in Sefer HaMitzvos, a short lesson in Inyonei Moshiach u’Geulah, a Maaseh Rav, a story our Rebbe told, and a moment with our Rebbe.

“Stories the Rebbe Told” has passed twenty episodes. Other series include the Frierdiker Rebbe’s Memoirs, “Kamocha: Lessons in Ahavas Yisrael,” Chassidishe stories from Likkutei Sippurim, Likkutei Sichos and Sefer HaSichos 5752 on the weekly parsha, Tales of Tzaddikim from Chazal, videos on Moshiach and the Geulah, a series on the Rebbe Rashab, and a section For Women and Girls that includes a series on the life of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka.

A new Parasha section opened this week with an animated haftara for Parshas Vayeira. A Special Days section prepares children for dates on the Chabad calendar, beginning with Chof Cheshvan.

Children who answer the review questions after Tanya, Likkutei Sichos and Today in Chabad videos earn points, appear on an anonymous scoreboard, and unlock bonus episodes and a game, “Mivtzoim: Tefillin Run.”

The stories are now available in other languages as well: Hebrew and Spanish (twenty stories each), French and Russian (fifteen each), and Portuguese, German and Dutch.

ChabadBochurim.com

For yeshiva students, ChabadBochurim.com is a daily yeshiva screen. At its center is the day’s Rambam, one perek a day, in a narrated video that goes through every halacha in order, followed by the full Hebrew text to learn inside. The page also carries the day’s Chumash, Tanya, Hayom Yom and Tehillim, and review questions.

New: ChabadChassidusVideos.com

The newest site, ChabadChassidusVideos.com, presents Chassidus and the teachings of our Rebbe and the Rebbeim for adults, in short illustrated videos. Each video names its sources so viewers can learn them inside.

It opens with “Chassidus on Marriage,” four videos for a chosson and kallah, their parents, and anyone preparing for a chasunah: the days leading up to the wedding, the day of the chasunah, shalom bayis, and the sheva brachos and the home. Next in that series is our Rebbe’s maamar Lecha Dodi of 5714.

The projects now in preparation are listed on the site:
– Chassidus on the weekly parsha: a maamar each week from Torah Ohr and Likkutei Torah, the “Chassidishe parsha” our Rebbe urged everyone to learn
– Our Rebbe’s maamarim from Sefer HaMaamarim Melukat, each one before its Chabad day or Yom Tov
– Special Days in Depth, beginning with Yud Tes Kislev
– Hemshech Samach Vov (5666) and Hemshech Ayin Beis (5672) of the Rebbe Rashab, in full, in short videos with introductions and summaries
– The Rebbe Rashab’s kuntreisim: UMaayan, HaTefillah, HaAvodah and Etz HaChaim
– The Frierdiker Rebbe’s Klalei HaChinuch v’HaHadracha, for mechanchim and parents

Free for everyone

All three sites are completely free, with no advertising. Families may dedicate a video l’iluy nishmas, for a refuah shleimah, or in honor of a simcha.

Each video has a feedback box underneath it that goes directly to the team, and corrections are usually made the same day.
