Despite Rain, Several Hundred People Join Achdus Hakafos in Crown Heights

Despite steady rain, hundreds of men, women and children from numerous Shuls in Crown Heights came out to join and celebrate at the thirds Annual Achdus Hakafos in Crown Heights, which took place Simchas Torah at the corner of Crown and Albany Avenue.

Children from various Shuls led in the reciting of the 12 Psukim, followed by joyous singing and dancing.

The Achdus Hakafos started three years ago on the first anniversary of the terrible Simchas Torah events of October 7th.

This year’s Hakafos also celebrated the tremendous miracles of the averted plane hijacking of last week that no rain could dispel.

Shuls participating in this Achdus Hakafos were: Beis Levy Yitzchok, Beis Shea, Beis Shneur, Chevra Ahavas Yisroel, Merkaz Sefarad, Ohel Nosson, Shmuels Shul, plus many individuals who came to celebrate.

The Achdus Hakafos was organized by R’ Binyomin Levin of Beis Shneur and Rabbi Lazer Avtzon of the Association of Crown Heights Shuls / Merkaz Sefarad.

A special thank you to Rabbi Yaacov Behrman and to the New York City Police Department for their assistance and support.
