Hundreds Dance in the Streets of Remsen Village at Simchas Beis Hashoavah

On the third day of Chol Hamoed Sukkos, Lubavitch of Remsen Village hosted a lively Simchas Beis Hashoavah outside its shul at 305 Remsen Avenue. White Fang Marketing served as the event’s corporate sponsor.

With police assistance, the entire block of Remsen Avenue was closed to create a safe space for families and community members to celebrate together. The evening included Torah, tefillah, and tzedakah, led by Rabbi Levi Gajer, along with lively music by Gershon Reich and Shmuli Keller, food, drinks, and a crowd-pleasing fire-juggling show.

The event was arranged by Avi Zuckerman, with assistance from Yossi Kagan, and brought a beautiful spirit of achdus and simchas Yom Tov to the neighborhood. Special thanks to Shomrim for their assistance, and to the Voli Bochurim who helped at the food tables.

Additional sponsors included Kingston Bake Shop and Crown Builders. The free light-up toys enjoyed by the children were generously sponsored by Shloimy and Yanki Hecht.
