Over 600 Bochurim Gather in 770 for Grand Erev Yom Kippur Seder Sichos
In a powerful display of Chassidic achdus and preparation for the sacred day of Erev Yom Kippur, more than 600 English-speaking bochurim from around the world gathered Tuesday night in 770 Eastern Parkway, Beis Chayenu, for a grand and inspiring Seder Sichos.
Organized by the English Division of Eshel Hachnosas Orchim, the gathering brought together Tmimim from more than 30 English-speaking Chabad Yeshivos across the globe. The bochurim united in learning, focusing their minds and hearts on the significance of the day and preparing to receive the Rebbe’s Birchas HaBonim on Erev Yom Kippur.
The Seder Sichos was held in a designated area in the rear of 770, where the participants studied the Rebbe’s Sichos associated with Birchas HaBonim, strengthening their hiskashrus to the Rebbe and deepening their appreciation for the unique significance of Erev Yom Kippur. Light refreshments were provided for all participants.
“As we prepare to receive the Rebbe’s Bracha this Erev Yom Kippur—Birchas HaBonim—we all united, ‘Sheves Achim Gam Yachad,’ in this Grand Seder Sichos,” organizers said.
Following the Seder Sichos, the bochurim gathered for a special farbrengen in the Tashkenter Shul downstairs in 770. The farbrengen was led by Rabbi Yisroel Greenberg, Mashpia in the Schuna.
The bochurim continued farbrenging late into the night, reflecting on the themes of the day and strengthening their hiskashrus to the Rebbe as they prepared for Yom Kippur.
