Chayenu Unveils Major Update for 5787 With New Chumash, Expanded Content and Redesigned Digital Experience
by CrownHeights.info
Chayenu is welcoming the new year with a major update to its print and digital Torah-learning platforms, introducing a new Chumash section, redesigned weekly booklet, expanded content and significant upgrades to its website and app.
The new 5787 edition features an all-new Chumash format, with each pasuk followed immediately by its full Rashi commentary, along with additional classic commentaries and explanations from the Rebbe on Rashi. The new format is designed to create a smoother and more integrated daily learning experience.
The weekly Chayenu has also received a new design and slightly larger format, providing additional room for Torah content while remaining portable. The redesigned layout gives greater prominence to Chitas and Rambam and more clearly organizes the Daily Study, Weekly Study and additional sections.
Among the new sections are “Oneness in the Parsha,” “The English Letters,” and “Name of the Parsha.” The new material includes explorations of G-d’s unity through the weekly parsha, annotated letters written in English by the Lubavitcher Rebbe, and teachings on the significance of the names of the weekly Torah portions.
The digital experience has also been rebuilt. The new Chayenu.org brings Daily and Weekly Study together in an integrated online experience, while the updated Chayenu app introduces enhanced navigation, viewing options and customizable settings. New app-only features include Rambam Notes, based on the Moznaim Edition English Rambam, as well as Chumash Notes featuring commentary by Rabbi Moore that was previously available in the print edition.
Founded in 2009, Chayenu says its weekly publication now reaches more than 30,000 daily learners in 35 countries, providing a practical format for Chitas, Rambam and other daily and weekly Torah study.
The 5787 update is being presented as part of Chayenu’s ongoing effort to make daily Torah learning more accessible and convenient—whether through the weekly booklet, computer or mobile device.
