International community of Young Shluchim start new year with MyShliach
For the average child growing up in a large frum community, having Chassidishe friends, regular learning opportunities and a full calendar of activities can feel like a natural part of childhood.
But for a child growing up on Shlichus, that isn’t always the case.
“There are thousands of Yaldei Hashluchim living in cities around the world, often far from other Chabad families and without a regular group of Chassidishe friends their age,” shared Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, Chairman of MyShliach at Merkos 302. “Our goal is to create that sense of community, so they know they are part of something greater”.
For almost two decades, MyShliach has been the global community where Yaldei Hashluchim can connect with other children who understand their unique experience, learn with dedicated teachers and mentors, and grow with pride in their Shlichus.
Now, as the new year begins, the MyShliach team at Merkos 302 is preparing for another year of programs designed to meet Young Shluchim and Shluchos wherever they are and whatever their needs may be.
Registration is now open for a full lineup of MyShliach programs beginning throughout the coming months.
Ach Sheli and Achos Sheli give boys and girls the opportunity to build a personal connection with an older Chassidishe mentor through a weekly chavrusa. Beyond the learning, the goal is to create a genuine relationship, a person who knows the child, looks forward to speaking with them each week and can become a friend and role model.
Yeshivas Erev gives boys in grades 4–8 a meaningful way to spend their evenings, with live Torah learning, chavrusas, interactive programming, prizes and the opportunity to learn and connect with Young Shluchim from around the world.
For girls, Shiur-It offers live, interactive learning twice a week, with dedicated teachers, age-based classes, chavrusa review and guided lesson journals, all from the comfort of home.
Chassidus Club brings Young Shluchim and Shluchos together every Sunday for an engaging Chassidishe experience filled with learning, friendship, activities and the spirit of a farbrengen.
And for girls, MyShliach Extreme brings something special every month, combining hands-on activities, creativity, Chassidishe content, friendship and exciting packages delivered to their homes.
Together, these programs provide children with something that can be difficult to find when growing up on Shlichus: a regular connection to a worldwide community of children just like them.
“Every Young Shliach and Shlucha deserves to know that they are not alone,” says Rabbi Mendy Shanowitz, Director of MyShliach. “Wherever they live, there are other children who understand their life, their Shlichus and the unique experience of growing up as a Shliach’s child. Our goal is to give them those friendships, those connections and the Chassidishe experiences that help them grow with pride and joy.”
Behind the thousands of children participating in MyShliach programs is a growing team dedicated to making sure every program is meaningful, engaging and accessible to Yaldei Hashluchim around the world.
Leading the organization is Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, Chairman of MyShliach, Rabbi Mendy Shanowitz, Director of MyShliach, together with Rabbi Moshe Weiss, program director.

As the 5787 school year gets underway, thousands of Young Shluchim and Shluchos will once again be learning, connecting, laughing, and growing together, from communities around the world.
