Crown Heights Yeashivos Thank Camp For Saving Community Upwards of $1,000,000 in Camp Costs

The Yeshovos of Crown Heights and beyond penned a letter of thanks to a Chabad camp after they saved the community upwards of $1,000,000 in camp costs.

Reflecting on another Incredible CGI Chayolei Summer

Dear Parents שיחיו,

Now that the campers have returned home and the Shnas Halimudim is off to a great start, Boruch Hashem, we are filled with tremendous gratitude and pride as we reflect on the incredible success of this past summer at CGI Chayolei.

Throughout the summer, the feedback from parents and children alike was overwhelmingly positive. Now that the campers have returned home, we continue to hear just how uplifting, exciting, and Chassidish the summer was.

Parents repeatedly shared how much they appreciated the presence of experienced, responsible Mechanchim on staff – professionals who could be called upon, who understood each situation, and who handled issues with wisdom and care. This made a real difference, and it was deeply felt by families throughout the summer.

We extend special recognition to Rabbi Pinchos Rapoport, Rabbi Zalman Sandhaus, Rabbi Avremel Silberberg, Rabbi Mendel Hendel, Rabbi Dovid Leib Morozov, Rabbi Zalman Goodfriend, Rabbi Sholom Bonnardel, Rabbi Mendel Spritzer, Rabbi Moshe Serbranski, and Rabbi Yanki Horowitz, whose dedication and leadership played a key role in making this summer such a success.

We also extend our appreciation to the Head Staff, who carried the responsibility of running the day-to-day program and worked tirelessly to create an exciting, organized, and meaningful summer for every camper. Their energy, commitment, and countless hours of work were felt throughout every part of camp.

Special thanks to Mendel Teichman, Zevi Barnett, Yosef Shemtov, Matti Brennan, Ari Silberberg, Avi Kurinsky, Avrohom Asher Kogan, Moshe Aron Geisinsky, Avrohom Konikov, Mendle Moully, Dovid Hagege, and Arale Raskin, each of whom gave so much of themselves to make this summer the very best it could be.

On a communal level, we are proud that this initiative brought not only tremendous Ruchniyus and Chassidishe inspiration, but also a significant material benefit. Together, we were able to save our Crown Heights community upwards of $1,000,000 in camp costs!

We thank CGI Chayolei for making this possible and are grateful that our joint endorsement helped ensure another successful summer for our Talmidim and families. As always, if parents would like to share feedback, we warmly welcome it.
