BDE: Mrs. Henna Markel, 45, OBM

With great sadness we report the passing of Mrs. Henna Markel OBM, a young wife and mother living in Crown Heights. She passed away on the Tuesday, 12th of Elul, after a lengthy illness.

She was 45 years old.

Mrs. Markel, née Margolis, was the wife of Rabbi Moshe Markel, who is involved in the distribution and sale of Chassidus seforim published by Kehot Publication Society.

She is survived by her husband, Rabbi Moshe Markel, and their three sons, Menachem Mendel, Chaim, and Arik.

She is also survived by her parents, Shaul and Yita Gittel Margolis of Oak Park, Michigan, and her siblings: Sora Milecki of Coral Springs, Florida; Avromie Margolis of Los Angeles, California; Devora Leah Stern of Lauderhill, Florida; Mendy Margolis of Southfield, Michigan; Dovid Margolis of Chicago, Illinois; and Shea Margolis of Southfield, Michigan.

The levaya will pass by 770 Eastern Parkway on Wednesday, 13 Elul, at 12:30 PM and continue to Old Montefiore Cemetery in Queens, where burial will take place at 1:30 PM.
