When Benny Friedman Traveled to Kazakhstan

A couple of years ago a group of men from Anshei Lubavitch traveled first what would be the first of many trips to visit the resting place of the Rebbe’s father, Harav Reb Levi Yitzchak Schneerson.

“We learned more about his life, his story, and his otherworldly self-sacrifice,” Benny Friedman wrote. “And of course, we studied from his Torah writings.”

Today, on the 82nd Yahrtzeit anniversary of this great and holy man, it’s a perfect time to refresh our knowledge about Chof Av, and recommit ourselves to live our lives with this level of commitment, without compromise, and without fear or doubt.
