Rabbi Dovid Nachshon Closes 50 Year Circle In Cincinnati

Rabbi Dovid Nachshon, Menahel of the “Mitzvah Tank office” in Eretz Yisroel, came to Cincinnati to Frabreng for 15 Av. This marked an amazing  closing of a “50 year circle” since his last visit to Cincinnati.

In 5736, the Rebbe told Rabbi Nachshon to begin spreading Yiddishkeit in Eretz Yisroel through “Mitzvah tanks”. He spent months travelling around America, trying to raise the funds. Finally, he came to Cincinnati and Rabbi Sholom Ber Kalmanson worked tirelessly to arrange with his contacts in the city and within a short period of time, the first two Mitzvah Tanks were on their way to Eretz Yisroel! 

At the Farbrengen, Rabbi Nachshon said over the full history of the tanks and gave an emotional thank you fo Rabbi Kalmanson.
