Kinus HaMechanchim Begins With a Powerful Visit to the Ohel
The 26th International Kinus HaMechanchim began Tuesday morning on a powerful note, as mechanchim from 74 cities across the globe gathered at the Ohel to draw strength and inspiration for their important Shlichus.
After davening Shacharis in 770 the mechanchim began their Ohel visit with a hachanah shiur Chassidus with Rabbi Yisroel Noach Lipskier, followed by an opportunity for mechanchim to write their personal panim and the reading of the Pan Kloli by Rabbi Chanoch Hecht, on behalf of all those gathered for the Kinus and mechanchim across the globe.
Standing together at the Ohel, the mechanchim began the Kinus with the awareness that their work is far more than a profession. Every day, they carry the tremendous responsibility and zechus of shaping the minds, hearts and futures of the next generation.
The Pan Kloli expressed the collective hopes of the mechanchim, asking for the Rebbe’s brachos for hatzlacha in their shlichus, for strength and clarity in their work, and for abundant bracha בגשמיות וברוחניות for the mechanchim, their families, their talmidim and the mosdos they serve.
From the Ohel, the mechanchim continued to Stamford for two days of learning, discussion, connection and inspiration, carrying with them the brachos and sense of mission with which the Kinus began.
This year’s Kinus centers on focusing on the עיקר — raising פרומע, ערליכע, ווארימע, חסידישע אידן. Beginning the Kinus at 770 and the Ohel brought that message into sharp focus: reconnecting to the purpose of chinuch and to the responsibility each mechanech carries in shaping the next generation.
