Watch Live 8 PM Tonight: Kinus HaMechanchim Banquet Marks 50 Years of Shnas HaChinuch

Tonight, hundreds of mechanchim from 75 cities across the globe will gather for one of the central highlights of the International Kinus HaMechanchim, the iconic Kinus Banquet, and viewers around the world are invited to watch it live.

This year’s banquet comes in a particularly meaningful year, marking 50 years since Shnas HaChinuch and celebrating the Rebbe’s call to place chinuch at the forefront. After a full day of learning, discussion and connection, the banquet will bring the Kinus together around its central message, focusing on the עיקר, raising פרומע, ערליכע, ווארימע, חסידישע אידן.

The evening will feature a full program of inspiration, reflection and celebration. Rabbi Yaakov Hirsch, new Rebbi at Lubavitch Hebrew Academy, will present on fulfilling Mivtza Chinuch as a new Rebbi. The program will also include a tribute to Rabbi Tzemach Wilansky A”H, along with remarks from Rabbi Nochem Kaplan, Executive Director of the Merkos Chinuch Office, and Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, General Chairman of the Merkos Chinuch Office.

“This banquet brings together what the Rebbe’s vision for a Kinus is really about, celebrating and strengthening mechanchim in their critical shlichus,” said Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky. “As we mark 50 years since Shnas HaChinuch, it is an opportunity to recommit ourselves to raising a generation of פרומע, ערליכע, ווארימע, חסידישע אידן.”

A major highlight of the evening will be the “Focused on the Ikar” musical and video presentation, bringing the theme of this year’s Kinus to life. Rabbi Benji Korf, Head of School at LEC Miami, will deliver the keynote address, and the program will also include a special presentation highlighting the impact of bus drivers in the chinuch of a child.

The banquet will conclude with the annual roll call, led by Rabbi Levi Lipinski, Mechanech at Cheder Chabad Philadelphia, celebrating the mechanchim gathered from communities around the world and the shared shlichus that unites them.

More than a closing event to the first day, the banquet is a chance to bring together the energy of the Kinus, the shared achrayus, the inspiration, and the commitment of mechanchim to the next generation, in one powerful evening.

The livestream begins tonight at 8:00 PM.
