Israeli Knesset Delegation Visits the Rebbe’s Ohel Ahead of Israel-Day Parade
A delegation of Israeli Knesset members, led by Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana, visited the Ohel of the Rebbe in Queens on Friday for a joint prayer gathering ahead of their participation in New York’s annual Israel-Day parade.
The delegation was welcomed and hosted by Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Neiman, the Rebbe’s Shliach to the diplomatic community in New York.
Following a respectful reception and spiritual preparation that included donning tefillin and writing personal prayer requests, the delegation entered the Ohel, where they offered both personal prayers and collective prayers on behalf of the Jewish people and those living in Eretz Yisroel.
Participating members of the delegation included Deputy Knesset Speaker Meir Cohen, Vladimir Beliak and Merav Ben-Ari of Yesh Atid; Eti Atiya, Afif Abed and Ariel Kellner of Likud; Orit Farkash-Hacohen and Eitan Ginzburg of Blue and White; and Oded Forer and Yulia Malinovsky of Yisrael Beiteinu.
The large Knesset delegation traveled to New York to take part in the massive Israel-Day parade held Sunday in Manhattan, joining thousands demonstrating solidarity and support for Israel.

if the Rebbe did not want us to look at picutres of non-kosher animals certainly he did not want us to see photos of people who live a lifestyle that the torah calls “toevah” [living with another ….]
BG
The animals in question belong to shalosh kelipos hat’meios. The people, while they’ve lowered themselves to that level, still have a nefesh ha’elokis (and a nefesh habahamis from klipas nogah). How do you even think to compare them, let alone to try to hang it on the Rebbe’s teachings?!

maybe BG is right maybe he is wrong –
one thing is certain the gemorah megillah 28a says it is forbiden to look at the likeness of a Rosho – somebody who lives that lifestlye is certainly a Rosho.
BG
Don’t go misquoting Gemaras. It says you’re not allowed להסתכל בפני אדם רשע. The first word means “to gaze,” not just a quick look. And בפני means at their actual face, in person; where do you get that it also means their picture?

if bg learnt as much gemoros as sichot he would know the gemorah says
בצלם דמות אדם רשע
which means a picture
a chassid is makipd on the gemorah even to look – he is not only makpid on inyanei chassidus more than the gemorah
