Hatzolah of Philadelphia Inaugurates First Two Advanced Life Support Ambulances Licensed in Pennsylvania

Hatzolah of Philadelphia is proud to announce the inauguration of its first two brand new ambulances equipped with Advanced Life Support (ALS) capabilities, marking a historic milestone in the organization’s mission to provide the highest level of emergency medical care to the community.

With heartfelt gratitude to Hashem, this achievement comes after a prolonged and determined effort. The Pennsylvania Department of Health has officially issued licensure for both ambulances, granting full ALS (Advanced Life Support) authorization. This marks the first time in the history of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania that Hatzolah ambulances have received official state licensure.

This important development serves as a meaningful enhancement to the local 911 emergency response system, strengthening coordination and expanding the level of care available to residents in times of urgent need.

Hatzolah of Philadelphia expresses its deepest hakaras hatov to the many dedicated askanim whose tireless advocacy, persistence, and unwavering commitment made this milestone possible. The organization also extends sincere appreciation to the local philanthropists and benefactors whose generosity and support were instrumental in bringing this vision to reality. Through their combined efforts, the community is now able to benefit from an elevated level of pre-hospital emergency care, with enhanced capabilities to save lives in critical situations.

These new ambulances represent a significant step forward in ensuring that when every second counts, Hatzolah responders are equipped to deliver advanced, life-saving treatment with speed, skill, and compassion.

In conjunction with this milestone, Hatzolah of Philadelphia is launching its 7th Annual Hatzolathon, a community-wide campaign dedicated to supporting and sustaining these life-saving advancements. This year’s effort will focus on ensuring that the newly licensed Advanced Life Support ambulances are fully equipped, staffed, and ready to respond at the highest level. Members of the community are invited to partner in this vital mission and help ensure that Hatzolah can continue to be there at a moment’s notice for those in need.
