An Important Shift in Chinuch: Foundations of Chinuch Training Continues
What happens when a child’s sense of self is shaky? When the way students see themselves and the way they treat one another begins shaping the entire atmosphere of a classroom? And how can mechanchim and mechanchos respond in a way that is authentic, lasting, and rooted in the Rebbe’s approach to chinuch?
The next sessions in Foundations of Chinuch, a training series by the Chinuch Office exploring the Rebbe’s chinuch language through the lens of the 12 Pesukim, will focus on the pesukim Veahavta and Kol Yisroel. These sessions will explore Veahavta as a core yesod and Kol Yisroel as a powerful message of the preciousness and value of every Yid, and how these messages shape the way children see themselves, relate to others, and experience the classroom environment.
These upcoming sessions are designed to help educators think more deeply about the messages students absorb each day, and how to translate those messages into a classroom language and culture that nurture self-worth, Ahavas Yisroel, and a stronger sense of purpose.
