Chabad Singer Releases New Acappella Song: “Only Child”
Chabad singer-songwriter and producer Moti Muchnik, also known as Yechida, has released an a cappella version of his soulful English song, Only Child—a moving reflection on reconnecting with our Neshama.
Only Child is inspired by the timeless analogy of the Baal Shem Tov about a prince who wanders to a faraway land and forgets his true identity. After years of distance, he returns home broken and lost. When the king hears the voice of his son crying, he immediately embraces him with open arms.
The song captures the story of our lives—wandering, losing ourselves, and ultimately coming back home. No matter how far we drift, we remain Hashem’s children, and He is always ready to embrace us.
This a cappella version brings the message back to its purest form, featuring calming vocals and heartfelt emotion that highlight the song’s theme of reconnection.
The acappella version of Only Child is available now on all streaming platforms.
