Dates and Location Announced for the 26th Kinus Hamechanchim
The 26th annual International Kinus Hamechanchim will IY”H take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, י”ד־ט”ו מנחם אב, July 28–29, at the Armon Hotel in Stamford, Connecticut.
Hosted by the Merkos Chinuch Office, the annual Kinus brings together mechanchim and menahalim from around the world for two days of growth, collaboration, and renewed inspiration in their avodas hakodesh.
“From the sessions to the networking, the Kinus Mechanchim continues to be the most effective opportunity for mechanchim to grow and perfect their sacred work,” said Rabbi Nochem Kaplan, Executive Director of the Merkos Chinuch Office.
Each year, the Kinus gives mechanchim and menahalim the opportunity to step away from the pace of the school year, connect with one another, and return with fresh perspective and practical tools for the year ahead.
“The Kinus Hamechanchim is a reflection of the value we place on mechanchim and on the lasting impact of their work,” said Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, General Chairman of the Merkos Chinuch Office. “It is an opportunity to invest in those who are shaping the next generation.”
Last year’s Kinus drew especially strong feedback from participants, who described it as both inspiring and exceptionally well organized.
Rabbi Yaakov Vidal, principal of Bais Chaya Mushka Elementary in Toronto, described the Kinus as “a whole new level.” “It was thoughtfully planned down to the last detail,” he said, “but what made it really special was that it put chinuch on a pedestal and elevated it to where it truly belongs.”
“We look forward to welcoming mechanchim from around the world once again and hosting a Kinus that is meaningful and uplifting for every participant,” said Rabbi Zalmy Loewenthal, Associate Director of the Merkos Chinuch Office.
Kinus Registration opens soon. Stay tuned for details.
