The Day After. What Now?

What is the connection between a podcast about Chassidus and Chof-Ches Nissan?

On Chof-Ches Nissan, the Rebbe didn’t announce “Moshiach Day”.

On Chof-Ches Nissan, the Rebbe urgently reminded us that every day must be “Moshiach Day”.

When Chof-Ches Nissan comes around, chassidim get together, learn the sicha, reminisce about the powerful energy that had then swept over Lubavitch, and maybe even take a hachlata to add in learning inyonei geulah umoshiach. And that’s all great.

But what about the next day? The urgency of that sicha needs to be felt on Chof-Tes Nissan, Lamed Nissan; etc. We need to think about what we can do and what we are doing to bring Moshiach every day!

Nu, so how do we bring Moshiach?

The Rebbe made it abundantly clear that we don’t need to “break our heads” to think about new things to do. We know what we need to do. Learn more TorahNigleh and Chassidus – do Mitzvos, and learn about Moshiach, all with the mindset of bringing Moshiach.

So, what is the connection between a podcast about Chassidus and Chof-Ches Nissan?

If this podcast will inspire even one person to deepen their connection with Chassidus, to add in their learning of the Rebbe’s Maamarim, to join a shiur, to make a chavrusa, to appreciate the tremendous gift that we have – and yes, all with the mindset of “Eimosai ko’osi mar? Lichesheyofutzu ma’ayonosecho chutza!” – then yes, maybe that is what we can do to live with the Rebbe’s cry of “Tut altz vos ir kent!”

In this conversation with Rabbi Levi Jacobson, we discuss his recent siyum on all of the Rebbe’s Maamarim: What made him start, the power of Chassidus that he discovered along the way, how it identifies his shlichus, and some practical tips for getting it done.
