Rabbi Ruderman, Rosh Yeshiva and founder of Yeshiva Ner Yisrael in Baltimore and A 1909 Tanya

New revelation from the archives of RabbI Chaim Dalfin.

The Tanya of Rabbi Ruderman, from the Vilna 1909 print is herby presented. It has his American yeshiva stamp, with his name, author of his sefer Avodas Levi, Rav of Baltimore, and Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva Ner Yisrael.

As I wrote in my book, Chabad and Gedolim volume 2, that he was raised in a Chabad home, was present at the Rebbe Rashab’s Rosh Hashanah, 1910 Maamar, and carried a small Tanya in his pocket throughout most of his years in America.

Whether he got this in Europe before he came to America or after is unknown. I ask anyone with information to please let me know at info@rabbidalfin.com.
