The Rebbe of Kretshnif–Kiryat Gat received Rabbi Elishiv Kaplan, the Mashpia at the Chabad Yeshiva in Kiryat Gat, in his office. Rabbi Kaplan presented him with his work Beis Chayeinu, a multi-volume set covering the years 1987–1992, a personal diary documenting his experiences with the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
