Bais Shmuel’s New Building Takes A Step Forward, Promont Announced As Building Company Hired For Construction

by CrownHeights.info

The highly anticipated Bais Shmuel Shul planned from the empty lot on the corner of Union Street and Albany Ave has taken another step forward, with Promont Builders being announced as the construction company hired to do the building.

“PROMONT has been selected to deliver a new shul (synagogue) that will serve as a central place of gathering for the community,” Mendy Waisbrod wrote on LinkedIn. “Thoughtfully designed by S. Wieder Architect PC the project reflects a clear vision: timeless design, practical function, and a space built to bring people together.”

Promont is a new York City based development management and construction management firm founded in 2000, with 392 projects, including many large buildings under its belt.

The new shul is planned to include a community center, including a pool and other amenities, such as a Simcha Hall for the community.

The new Shul is long in coming, with news of the plans first becoming public in 2021.
