Lubavitcher Yeshiva Opens New “Out-of-Town Mesivta”
In a display of Achdus, Tomchei Temimim proudly announces the opening of a new Mesivta division for the coming Shnas HaLimudim, a collaboration between Lubavitcher Yeshiva Crown Street and Lubavitcher Yeshiva Ocean Parkway.
The new Mesivta will feature a state-of-the-art dormitory, a spacious Beis Medrash, and a brand-new mikvah, offering a complete out-of-town Mesivta experience within a true Tomchei Temimim atmosphere, just 30 minutes from Crown Heights.
The Mesivta will operate under the umbrella of United Lubavitcher Yeshiva, under the leadership of Rabbi Yosef Simpson and Rabbi Yossi Langsam, together with Rabbi Shmuel Wagner, who will serve as Rosh Mesivta. Their shared dedication to Chassidishe Chinuch continues to propel the Yeshiva forward — hecher un hecher.
Rabbi Shmuel Wagner brings years of experience as an elementary Mechanech who helped shape Lubavitcher Yeshiva–Ocean Parkway’s curriculum. Drawing on insight into the lower grades, he helps build a Mesivta intentionally tailored for bochurim transitioning from Kita Ches, fostering a warm, Chassidishe environment.
Joining him will be Rabbi Meyer Rodal, serving as Maggid Shiur for Nigleh. Rabbi Rodal brings over a decade of Mesivta experience, admired by his talmidim, and is known for his warmth, sincerity, and personal attention to each bochur. Together, they form a powerful team, being mechanech bochurim to become true temimim: learned, mentchlich, with true ahavas yisrael, and unwavering hiskashrus to the Rebbe.
Located at the Lubavitcher Yeshiva Ocean Parkway campus, the new facility includes a large Beis Medrash, newly renovated shiur rooms, and a beautiful library filled with seforim, providing talmidim with an environment for learning and davening. The on-site dormitory and mikvah complete this wholesome setting, giving each Bochur the opportunity to grow in Torah, Avodah, and Chassidus.
This milestone was made possible through the steadfast partnership and support of Itchik Orimland, whose dedication played an integral role in turning this vision into reality.
As Tomchei Temimim Crown Street and Tomchei Temimim Ocean Parkway join forces to meet the growing needs of our community’s bochurim, this new Mesivta stands as a powerful expression of Achdus and of Tomchei Temimim’s unwavering commitment to building higher and higher — העכער און העכער — in Chassidishe Chinuch, Avodas Hashem, and Hiskashrus to the Rebbe.
