Crown Heights Shomrim Unveils Its Newest Fleet Car, A “Ghost” Dodge Challenger
by CrownHeights.info
Crown Heights Shomrim is a well known and visible organization within the Schuna, but its newest fleet vehicle goes “undercover”.
During the first night of Chol Hamoed Sukkos, Shomrim rolled out its newest addition, a Dodge Challenger vehicle, fully illuminated with lights and sirens and sporting “ghost” decals.
“Crown Heights Shomrim welcomes its newest response and patrol vehicle,” Crown Heights Shormim wrote on social media.”This addition was made possible thanks to the incredible generosity of Elite Concrete and Blue Diamond Concrete Cutters.”
Shomrim, previously known for its three wheeled Go-4 Scooters, has increased its fleet of full sized vehicles over the past few years, adding a Ford Explorer and Chevy Tahoe. The vehicles have been used extensively for community events, mobile patrols, and increased visibility to deter crime.
“We thank them — and the entire community — for their continued trust and support in helping us keep Crown Heights safe,” Shomrim said.

For the ignorant amongst us: What are “ghost” decals?
Yg
They only light up when you shine a light at them. Otherwise you can’t see them

Trying to follow the logic:
1. They only light up when you shine a light at them. Otherwise you can’t see them.
2. For increased visibility to deter crime.
These two don’t add up!
