Kollel L’Rabbonei Chabad Launches a New Learning Track Focused on Hilchos Niddah
Hilchos Niddah is one of the most sensitive and foundational areas of halacha, critical both for oneself and when guiding others. Yet they are often studied only on the surface, leaving many without the depth of understanding needed to fully apply them.
Starting Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan, Merkos Torah’s Kollel L’Rabbonei Chabad is launching a new learning track dedicated to Hilchos Niddah, building on the success of the program already completed by over 160 Shluchim and Rabbonim. This new track offers a deep, structured, and practical approach to learning, designed to be completed in 18 months, with shiurim that span from the Gemara and Rishonim to practical shimush.
“The Rebbe always emphasized the importance of dedicating consistent time to learning, especially in halacha,” said Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, executive director of Merkos 302. “This is the essence of Merkos Torah, creating a framework where all participants can grow in their halachic knowledge and apply it meaningfully.”
The program’s weekly guided learning schedule ensures that participants make steady progress, following a consistent and structured approach. With Prerecorded Shiurim from expert Rabbonim, live weekly “Talking in Learning” sessions and follow-up with the Roshei Kollel, HaRav Chaim Hillel Raskin and HaRav Tuvia Kasimov, participants will have direct access to personal guidance, discussion, and shimush, fostering a supportive and engaging community atmosphere.
Rabbi Chaim Hillel Raskin, Rosh Kollel, shares: “Our goal is to create a structured and immersive learning environment. This track is not just about listening to shiurim, it’s about engaging deeply with the material, so it becomes part of your daily life, providing clarity and the tools to apply these halachos with confidence.”
To further enrich the learning experience, participants will also have access to a WhatsApp support group for shimush and shailos, offering continuous guidance and ensuring they receive the support needed throughout their learning journey.
In addition, optional chavrusa placement, learning coach accountability, and add-ons such as shimush in maaros make this program adaptable to each participant’s needs. Learners who are up to date with shiurim and quizzes will also gain access, at no added cost, to Rabbi Faitel Levin’s Contemporary Halacha Course.
“The structure of this track is what sets it apart,” says Rabbi Raskin. “It’s about consistency and a comprehensive approach to learning. It’s not just about memorizing halachos, it’s about understanding them deeply and learning how to paskin halacha l’maaseh.”
The learning will be guided by an esteemed team of Rabbonim and teachers, including HaRav Yekusiel Farkash, HaRav Tuvia Kasimov, HaRav Chaim Hillel Raskin, Debritziner Dayan HaRav Shaul Yechezkel Schwartz, and many others. Their combined expertise will offer participants a thorough and well-rounded understanding of Hilchos Niddah, ensuring they approach this essential subject with the seriousness it deserves.
“This track isn’t just about learning halachos,” said Rabbi Kasimov, “it’s about changing how we approach them, applying them in our lives, and strengthening ourselves with practical, real-world halachic knowledge,
