55 years ago, Ches Tamuz, nine bochurim traveled to a wedding. On the way back, a tractor-trailer collided with their car and hit the Gas Tank. The entire car was engulfed in flames, with all nine boys thinking it was their last minutes on earth.

With the clear interference with the Hashem and the Rebbe, everyone left the car alive, even though some were badly hurt and rushed to the hospital.

    I also heard similarly that in 1976, a car full of bochurim shluchim were driving to the newly established Yeshiva in Cincinnati. Before they departed, the Rebbe insisted that they get a brocha before they leave. During that trip, the car driver lost control on the highway and the car rolled over several times. Miraculously, not one bochur shaliach was injured.
