Oholei Torah Sends Largest Group of Shluchim to Date
Beis Medrash Oholei Torah in Crown Heights, under the leadership of Menahel Rabbi Elchonon Lesches, has released the list of Talmidei HaShluchim being sent to Yeshivos around the world for the upcoming Shnas Halimudim 5786. A record-breaking 290 bochurim will be embarking on shlichus – the largest group ever.
So sad
So many of them will waste their year doing nothing, particularly that we should go to a place where there is no established Yeshiva. (Does Atlanta have a Yeshiva?) all in the name of the essentially vital necessity of spending a year on “Shlichus” regardless of how it damages your Neshama. Feh.
