Seder Toolkit Released as a Matanah for the Rebbe’s Birthday
In honor of the Rebbe’s birthday on Yud Aleph Nissan, a new initiative gives real-world expression to one of the Rebbe’s deepest and most personal requests.
Shlomo M. Hamburger, a retired attorney and educator, has released a new Pesach Seder toolkit based on the Torah of Harav Levi Yitzchak Schneerson, the Rebbe’s father and renowned mekubal.
On Motzei Tisha B’Av 5744, the Rebbe wrote:
“It is my obligation and great zechus to suggest, request, etc., that everyone study from [my father’s] teachings…”
“This is my personal matanah for Yud Aleph Nissan,” says Hamburger. “But it’s also a way for others to fulfill the Rebbe’s request—not just through learning, but through action. The Rebbe always said Ha’maaseh hu ha’ikkar.”
Rabbi Chaim Dalfin, noted Chabad historian, scholar, and author commented, “Shlomo Hamburger’s explanation of Reb Levik’s Erev Pesach letters to the Rebbe as reflected in the Pesach toolkit is brilliant. He has unlocked the code.”
The Hidden Harmony Seder Toolkit includes:
– A Leader’s Guide based on a 1934 letter by Rabbi Levi Yitzchak
– A Participant Guide for guests at all levels
– A thought-provoking essay on divine concealment and redemption
– Printable discussion prompts and cards for every step of the Seder
The resources are free and downloadable—meant to make Rabbi Levi Yitzchak’s deep teachings part of the lived Seder experience, as a true gift to the Rebbe.
