Florida Jewish Delegation Meets US Congresswoman

A Jewish delegation spearheaded by liaison Rabbi Chaim Rosenstein met with US Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick. The group presented fresh ideas to the Congresswoman regarding ways to advance the needs of the Jewish community and beyond in FL-20.

The delegation consisting of Chaim Rosenstein- Lauderhill Jewish Liaison. A financial advisor who counsels families regarding their finances.

Andre Roitman– A banker in Aventura, Florida, and the director of Hatzalah South Florida.

Alon Asefovitz– CEO of My Medabill, a company that provides various therapies to individuals.

Dovi Blachman– CEO of Prime Time Stubs, and a local philanthropist.

FL-20 encompasses parts of Broward and Palm Beach Counties with many Jewish residents and snowbirds.

Congresswoman Cherfilus-McCormick sits on the Middle East committee, a bipartisan committee in Congress.

Cherfilus-McCormick pledged to continue working to support Israel in Congress and to work with the Jewish delegation on the ideas and concerns that they brought to her attention.

The meeting concluded with all agreeing that this collaborative discussion is only the beginning.
