The Rebbe’s explanation for Pollard’s unduly long prison sentence, that Pollard had to complete Yoseph HaTzaddik’s prison sentence, is the only one I have ever heard that really makes sense.

Confused Time Frame
Pollard says he was incarcerated for 20 years before he heard the Rebbe’s insights, but that time line is obviously wrong when considering Pollard was arrested in 1985 and the Rebbe suffered his first stroke about 7 years later, in 1992.
