Chabad Jewish Center of Troy Purchases New Center with Triple the Space
Chabad Jewish Center of Troy will officially make the move from Auburn Hills to Troy later this year — around the High Holiday season, says founder and director Rabbi Menachem Caytak.
Founded in 2019, Chabad Jewish Center of Troy marked the first-of-its-kind on the eastside of Metro Detroit. Now, after engaging more than 800 families in the area, it’s ready to expand.
Its current 1,600-square-foot location in Auburn Hills can comfortably accommodate a few dozen people, he explains, but with events packing in anywhere from 80 to 100 people, he quickly saw the space was too small.
