Pure Joy and dancing at Father and Son Simchas Beis Hashoeva

Talmidim of Lubavitcher Yeshiva, along with their fathers and grandfathers, danced in a manner of pure joy on the rooftop of their Yeshiva campus on Crown Street.

“This was the best way to start off Chol Hamoe’d” expressed one parent. “This is pure joy,” said another. “just singing and dancing, without any distraction.”

There was also the opportunity for boys to dance with their classmates and their rebbi. Such dancing makes it more personal and more real. The only criticism was why this does not happen every night.

Talmidim then got top make a loishev basukah in what may just have been the most elevated Sukkah in Crown Heights, overlooking the Manhattan Skyline.
