RFK Jr. Comes To The Defense Of The Lubavitcher Rebbe After Candace Owens Slanderous Comments
by CrownHeights.info
On a Piers Morgan debate that went live Wednesday, political commentator Candace Owens attempted to disparage her opponent, Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, by claiming he was a follower of a “radical Jewish sect”, namely the Lubavitcher Rebbe. The claim did not go over well for her.
Following the release of the debate, former Presidential candidate RFK Jr. took to the social media platform X to call out Owens on no uncertain terms.
“During her interview on @PiersMorgan Candace Owe @RealCandaceO referred to what she termed “radical Judaism” and characterized the iconic Lubavitcher Rebbe Menachem Schneerson, as someone who “preached Jewish supremacism and hatred of all non-Jews,” he wrote. “These words are a sickening and manifestly inaccurate description of a revered holy man who was respected and beloved by people of all faiths.”
RFK Jr. doubled down, posting a picture of his father by the Rebbe and saying “Rabbi Schneerson preached a message of unadulterated love, tolerance, respect, and universal justice for all of humanity. My father considered him a spiritual mentor and sought his advice on diverse issues of morality and ethics. He once visited the Rebbe at 2 o’clock in the morning! As Americans, we need to distance ourselves from the troubling rise in antisemitism. We need unity in our country, not divisiveness. That’s what Rabbi Schneerson stood for.”
Instead of getting the message, Owens attempted to back up her statements, posting a video clip of the Rebbe that she claimed proved her point. Users on X were less than impressed.

I recall reading a sicha a few years ago, I believe parshas Bereishis, where the Rebbe talks about the 4 categories of created beings– inorganic, vegetation, animals, and humans.
Then he goes on to say that even the body of a Jew is NOT even like a different species, because the difference between two species is a difference within of the created, while every Jew is of the Creator.
