BDE: Boruch Schoenes, 75, OBM
With great sadness we report the passing of Mr. Boruch Eliyahu Schoenes OBM, beloved son, brother, father, and grandfather, from Remsen Village who passed away on Friday, 29th of Sivan – July 5, 2024.
Mr. Schoenes from Remsen Village, Brooklyn and a long-time resident of the Chabad Kehillah in Baltimore, Maryland. He was also among the first members of Chabad of Charlotte, North Carolina.
He is survived by his children; Chana Tzipporah Zeichner (Brooklyn, NY), Menachem Mendel Nissan Schoenes (Baltimore, MD), and many grandchildren.
He is also survived by his siblings; Steven Delin (Bellingham, MA), Wayne Delin (Daytona, FL), and Amy Simpson (Virginia Beach, VA).
He was predeceased by his brother Bernard Steven Schoenes OBM, his first wife Miriam (Greenspan) Schoenes OBM, and his second wife Aliza (Salow/Sampson) Schoenes OBM.
Chanie Zeichner will be sitting shiva at 219 East 91st street (between Clarkson & Winthrop) , Brooklyn, NY.
