Rain, Shine, Or Snow The Lag B’Omer Parade In Montreal

Montréal, one of the only city’s that hosts a Lag B’Omer parade every year through rain, shine, or even snow, held another beautiful parade this year coordinated by Chabad activist Rabbi David Cohen of Chabad Lubavitch youth organization.

The highly successful parade was done in conjunction with the Shluchim of Beth Chabad COTE S-LUC, Rabbi and Mrs. Mendel and Sarah Raskin, Rabbi Tsemach Raskin, and Rabbi Levi Naparstek.

Over 4000 attended joined on the beautiful sunny day with 20 vehicles, car floats, and truck floats decorating proudly the Mivtzoyim prepared by the Yeshiva and Zal.

The parade was led by the 6th grade Marching Band coordinated by Mr. Avi Tansky, Shalom Ber Silberstein, and Shmuly Cohen. Mrs. Adel Zirkind coordinated the parents committee for the marching band.

Special thanks was given to the Chaya Mushka Seminary for their help in coordinating all the signs and balloons for the event.

Snacks were given out with a beautiful program complete with professional entertainers including the Nacho Circus and Fredolini the Clown. A petting zoo, pony rides, inflatable games, open barbecue, cotton candy, and freeze pops were made available for all.
